How to manage product permissions from Product management

Use Product management when you want to choose a product first and then manage what its allocated team members can do.

To follow this route, you must be an administrator or have both the Manage account, billing and upgrading and Manage team members and groups permissions. A team member must have a seat for the product before their product permissions can be used.

Use the Steps section below to manage permissions from Product management.

The available permission switches depend on the selected product. Direct permissions apply to the selected team member; inherited permissions must be changed from the relevant group's Permissions tab.

If you have the Manage team members and groups permission but do not have access to Account & billing, use the team member's Permissions tab instead. Follow How to manage product permissions for a team member.

Advanced permissions mode is required to change individual Hub or product permissions. In Basic permissions mode, team members use fixed administrator or standard access.

For an administrator, every permission is enabled and locked. Only an administrator can change administrator access on the person's Permissions tab before individual permissions can be customised. Permissions marked Permission granted from group must be changed on the source group's Permissions tab.

Step 1

From the Hub, select your profile picture in the top-right corner.

Step 2

Select Account & billing.

Step 3

Step 9
