How to manage product permissions using groups
Use a group's Permissions tab to give several team members the same permissions inside a product.
Administrators and team members with the Manage team members and groups permission can manage product permissions. Group membership does not allocate product seats; every member must also have a seat for the product.
Use the Steps section below to manage the group's product permissions.
Product permissions granted through a group are inherited by its members. To change a direct product permission for one person, use How to manage product permissions for a team member.
Product permissions do not grant access to account settings, billing or team management. To manage those areas through a group, use How to manage Hub permissions using groups.
Advanced permissions mode is required to change individual Hub or product permissions. In Basic permissions mode, team members use fixed administrator or standard access.
Click your profile image and select Manage team.
Select Groups and open the relevant group.
Open the Permissions tab and find Product permissions.
Find the product. If products are grouped by type, expand the relevant group.
Select the link to manage that product's permissions.
Turn the required product permission switches on or off. Check the product and group names before saving.
Select Save permissions. Members inherit these permissions, but each member still needs a product seat.
