What are Hub permissions?

Hub permissions control access to account-level areas of the Webfactory Hub, including billing, account settings and team management. This article lists the main Hub permissions and shows where to find their switches.

For an overview of permissions, groups and product access, start with Introduction to permissions in the Hub.

Administrators and team members with Manage team members and groups can manage Hub permissions. Only administrators can grant or remove administrator access.

Which Hub permissions can I enable?

Manage team members and groups: manage team members, groups, roles, memberships, policy documents, product access, and Hub and product permissions.
Manage account, billing and upgrading: manage account details, payment methods, statements, recurring payments, product changes, upgrades and rewards.
Manage hub settings: manage account-wide settings, including Permissions mode and Two factor security.

Each permission can be granted separately in Advanced permissions mode. Additional permissions may appear for particular accounts or services.

Where Hub permissions are managed

Follow these steps to find the Hub permission switches for a team member.

Step 1

Open your profile picture and select Manage team.

Step 2

Select Team members.

Step 3

Select the team member whose permissions you want to manage.

Step 4

Open the Permissions tab.

Step 5

Under Hub permissions, select Manage Hub permissions.

For instructions on changing or reviewing permissions:

Manage Hub permissions for one team member: grant or remove direct Hub permissions for one person.
Manage Hub permissions using groups: give several team members the same Hub permissions.
Review your Hub and product permissions: see your administrator status and the Hub permissions you currently have.
