What does the Manage hub settings permission allow?
The Manage hub settings permission allows a team member to access and update Hub settings that control customer-facing Hub behaviour and account configuration.
An administrator or a team member with the Manage team members and groups permission can manage this permission. Only administrators can grant or remove administrator access.
What this permission allows
This permission provides access to account-wide Hub options, including:
- Permissions mode: choose Basic or Advanced permissions.
- Two factor security: require two-factor authentication for every team member.
For instructions, see the related article How to find and manage Hub settings.
What this permission does not allow
This permission does not grant administrator access, manage team members and groups, manage billing, or grant permissions inside individual products.
Product permissions are managed separately for every product. Read What is the difference between Hub permissions and product permissions?.
To grant or remove this permission for one person, use How to manage Hub permissions for a team member. To apply it to several people, use How to manage Hub permissions using groups.
