What is a 'User'
This article explains what the term ‘User’ means within the Webfactory Hub.
A ‘User’ is any individual who has access to the Webfactory Hub. Each user can be assigned specific permissions and products depending on their role within your organisation.
Only Admin users, or users with the correct permissions, can manage other users.
Access to different sections or products within the Webfactory Hub can be controlled by assigning permissions. These can be set for individual users or through group membership, ensuring each user only has access to what they need.
Users can also be organised into User groups based on shared roles, responsibilities, or projects. This makes it easier to manage permissions and product access for multiple users at once. For example, a customer support user group might include all members of the support team, with any permissions assigned to the group automatically applying to all its members.
