What is a 'User'
In this article, we'll provide a brief explanation of the term 'User' within the Hub.
A 'User' refers to any individual who has access to the Webfactory Hub. Each user can be assigned specific permissions and products based on their role within your organisation.
Only 'Admin users' or 'Users' given the appropriate permission can manage other users.
You can control who has access, by giving permissions, to the different section or products within the Webfactory Hub, this can be done either for each 'User' individually or by 'Group membership'. This ensures that each 'User' only has access to the products and actions you wish to grant them.
'Users' can be grouped together into 'User groups' based on shared characteristics, responsibilities or projects. This makes it easier to manage permissions and products for multiple 'Users' at once. For example, you might have a customer support 'User group' that includes all members of the customer support team. Any permissions set for that group will be inherited by all the group members.
