What are user settings

This article provides a brief overview of the options available in user settings.

  • General profile information: the users name, contact information.
  • Group memberships: any user groups the user has been assigned to.
  • Username and password management: where the user can update their username and password.
  • Notification settings: control which notifications are sent and to enable push notifications.
  • Product access settings: view the products which the user has access to and in the case of administrators, where product access can be granted or revoked.
  • Permissions settings: view what things the user can and cannot do within your products. Administrators can grant and revoke permissions here.
  • Sessions monitoring: where all active login session can be seen. Sessions can also be terminated which will automatically log the user out on the device the session is associated with.
  • Security configurations: allows configuration of such things as safe IP addresses and two factor authentication.
