How to reassign a category or sub-category to an article in your knowledge base
In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps of updating the category or sub-category assigned to an article in your knowledge base.
Note: you'll only be able to reassign a category if the category has already been created. Check out our article on how to add categories.
- Click on the ‘Content’ tab.
- Find the article you’d like to reassign, either by using the search bar or by browsing through the categories or sub-categories manually. You can then:
- Click the icon next to the article and select ‘Change category’.
- Click directly on the article to open it, you’ll find the ‘Category’ section just below the article title.
- Select the new category or sub-category you’d like the article to be assigned to.
- Finally, click the ‘Update category’ button.
