How to reassign a category or sub-category to an article in your knowledge base

In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps of updating the category or sub-category assigned to an article in your knowledge base.

Note: you'll only be able to reassign a category if the category has already been created. Check out our article on how to add categories.

  1. Click on the ‘Content’ tab.
  2. Find the article you’d like to reassign, either by using the search bar or by browsing through the categories or sub-categories manually. You can then:
    1. Click the icon next to the article and select ‘Change category’.
    2. Click directly on the article to open it, you’ll find the ‘Category’ section just below the article title.
  3. Select the new category or sub-category you’d like the article to be assigned to.
  4. Finally, click the ‘Update category’ button.
