How to remove a category or sub-category from your knowledge base
In this article, we'll guide you through the steps of removing a category or sub-category from your knowledge base.
You cannot remove a category if it contains sub-categories or articles. You will need to move or remove them first.
- Click on the 'Content' tab.
- Find the category or sub-category you wish to remove and click on the '' next to it.
- Then, click on ' Remove'.
- If it is a main category with sub-categories attach to it. The system will ask you to move or delete the sub-categories first.
- If it is a sub-category with articles assign to it. The system will ask you to first move or delete the articles before being able to remove the sub-category.
- Finally select 'Remove'.
