How to set up Webfactory Mail on your iPad

In this article, we will guide you through the steps on setting up your IMAP email account from webfactory.co.uk on your iPad.

  1. Open Settings
    • First, locate and tap on the 'Settings' app on your iPad home screen.
  2. Access Mail Settings
    • Scroll down and tap on 'Mail'.
    • Tap on 'Accounts'.
    • Tap on 'Add Account'.
  3. Select Other
    • Tap on 'Other' (located at the bottom).
  4. Add Mail Account
    • Tap on 'Add Mail Account'.
    • On the New Account screen, provide the following information:
      • Name: Your name (this is the name that will appear in the 'From' field of your emails).
      • Email: Your full email address.
      • Password: The password for your email account.

  5. Set Up Incoming Mail Server
    • Under the 'Incoming Mail Server' section, enter the following details:

      • Username: Your full email address.

  6. Set Up Outgoing Mail Server
    • Scroll down to the 'Outgoing Mail Server' section, and enter the following details:

      • Password: The password for your email account.
    • After filling out both 'Incoming' and 'Outgoing' mail servers, tap 'Next'.
    • Your iPhone will now verify your email account settings. This process may take a few moments.
  7. Select IMAP and Save
    • Ensure 'IMAP' is selected at the top and that the email address shows correctly in the 'IMAP Path Prefix' box.
    • If everything is filled out correctly, tap 'Save'.

Your email account should now be successfully added to your iPhone, and you can access it via the Mail app.
