How to add your Webfactory Mail to Outlook for Android

In this article, we'll guide you through the process of adding your Webfactory Mail account to Microsoft Outlook for Android.

  1. If you haven't already, download the Microsoft Outlook app from the Play Store.
  2. Open the Microsoft Outlook app on your Android device.
  3. If you don't have an account set up yet, you'll be prompted to add one. If you already have an account, tap your profile image at the top of the screen.
  4. Select "Add Account."
  5. Enter your Webfactory email address and tap 'Continue'.
  6. Select 'IMAP' when asked to choose an account type .
  7. Toggle 'Advanced settings' at the bottom of the screen.
    • Type the name you wish to be displayed on your sent messages. Optionally you can describe what the account is for in the 'Description' section e.g. Work.
    • In the 'IMAP Incoming Email Server settings' section.
      • In the IMAP Hostname filed, type mailserver1.webfactory.co.uk
      • In the Port section, enter 993 (or 143).
      • For Security type, select SSL/TLS.
      • Enter your IMAP username if not pre-filled already.
      • Enter your password.
    • In the SMPT outgoing mail server settings.
    • In the SMTP Hostname field, type mailserver1.webfactory.co.uk
      • In the Port section, enter 465.
      • For Security type, select SSL/TLS.
      • Enter your SMPT username if not pre-filled already.
      • Enter your password again.
    • Tap the sign at the top of your screen.
  8. You can now add an other account if you wish to or go to your inbox by selecting 'Maybe later'
  9. Choose if you wish to turn on notifications.
  10. You should now have access to your Webfactory email in the Microsoft Outlook app for Android.

Always keep your password secure and confidential. Regularly changing it is also recommended for security reasons.
