How to add your Webfactory Mail to Outlook for MacOS

In this guide we'll guide you through the process of adding your Webfactory Mail on your Mac using Microsoft Outlook. Please follow these steps:

  1. Open Outlook
    • First, open Microsoft Outlook on your Mac.
  2. Add new email account
    • If this is your first time using Outlook, you'll see a prompt to add an email account. If you're already using Outlook with another account, click on the click the '+' sign in the top left of Outlook and select add new account .
  3. Enter your email information
    • In the 'Add new account ' window, enter your full email address, then click 'Continue'.
    • You may be presented with an option to sync with Microsoft Cloud, if you are, just click the 'Sync directly with IMAP' option.
    • On the next screen you will need to amend some of the auto-completed information.
  4. User information, server Information, and logon information
    • Click on the 'Show Advanced Settings' toggle to show additional boxes and complete or update with the following information:
    • User information
      • Email address: Your full email address.
      • IMAP username: Your full email address.
      • IMAP password: The password we have provided you with.
      • SMTP username: Your full email address.
      • SMTP password: The password we have provided you with.
    • Server information
      • Select from the drop down below both the incoming and outgoing servers the option 'Use SSL to connect'
      • IMAP incoming server: mailserver1.webfactory.co.uk and port 993
      • SMTP outgoing server: mailserver1.webfactory.co.uk and port 465
    • After entering all details, click 'Add Account'.

You may be prompted to allow the SSL connection. If so click to allow.

Your email account should now be successfully added to Microsoft Outlook on your Mac, and you can access it from the Mail pane.
