How to add your Webfactory Mail to the Gmail app on your iPhone
In this article, we'll guide you through the steps of adding your Webfactory Mail account to the Gmail app on your iPhone.
- If you haven’t already, download the Gmail app from the App Store.
- Open the Gmail app on your iPhone.
- If you don’t have an account set up yet, you’ll be prompted to add one. If you already have an account, tap your profile image at the top of the screen.
- Select "Add another account."
- Choose 'Other (IMAP)'.
- Enter your Webfactory email address.
- You should now be redirected to the incoming mail server settings.
- Enter your password.
- In the IMAP Server field, type mailserver1.webfactory.co.uk
- In the Port section, enter 143.
- For Security type, select SSL/TLS.
- Tap 'Next'.
- In the outgoing mail server settings.
- Enter your password again (if not displayed already).
- In the SMTP Server field, type mailserver1.webfactory.co.uk
- In the Port section, enter 465.
- For Security type, select SSL/TLS.
- Tap 'Next'.
- Choose a name you wish to be displayed on your sent messages and tap 'Next'.
- You should now have access to your Webfactory email in the Gmail app.
- You can switch account by taping on your profile picture.
- Always keep your password secure and confidential. Regularly changing it is also recommended for security reasons.
