How to restrict access to your knowledge base by IP address
In this article, we'll guide you through the steps of restricting access to your knowledge base to specific IP addresses.
IP access control enables you to restrict your knowledge base to selected IP addresses. This means that only the IP addresses you've chosen can access your knowledge base.
Note that if the user's IP changes, they'll no longer be able to use your knowledge base until you add the new IP address to the restricted IPs list.
Step 1
Click on the 'Settings' tab.
Step 2
Go to the 'IP access control' section.
Step 3
Toggle 'Enable IP access control' on.
Step 4
Type the IP address that should be allowed to access your knowledge base.
Step 5
Click on the 'Add' button.
Step 6
Finally, click on the 'Update settings' button.
