How to embed videos in your knowledge base articles

In this article, we'll guide you through the steps of embedding videos in your knowledge base articles.

Step 1

Either add a new article or choose an existing article.

Step 2

Now, click on either the 'Add content' button if this is a new article, or on the icon if this is an existing article.

Step 3

Select one or two columns to structure your content layout.

Step 4

Then, choose either 'Vimeo' or 'YouTube' as your content type.

Step 5

Then, click on the ' Add section' button.

Step 6

A new 'Video content' box will appear on your article.

Step 7

To embed a video, simply click on the 'Video content' box.

Step 8

A pop-up will appear asking you to paste the video's embed code.

Step 9

Find the video's embed code:

Go to your preferred video hosting provider, such as YouTube or Vimeo.
If you haven't uploaded the video yet, upload it to your chosen hosting platform. Then open the video you want to add to your article.
Copy the embed code.

Step 10

Go back to your article.

Step 11

Paste the embed code into the 'Video content' box.

Step 12

Finally, click on the 'Update' button.
