What can you manage in a team member's profile in the Hub?
A team member's profile brings together their personal details, sign-in settings, group memberships, product access and permissions. The tabs and controls available depend on whether you are viewing your own profile, your Hub permissions and the products your organisation uses.
Personal details
Update profile images, names and contact details. When editing your own profile, open Your profile from the profile menu. To manage another person, open Manage team, select Team members and then open their profile. Managing other team members requires administrator access or the Manage team members and groups permission.
Login & security
Manage your own sign-in and security settings. When managing another team member, the sign-in tab may be labelled Username & password.
Group memberships
Review the groups a team member belongs to and manage membership where your access allows it. Groups can provide inherited permissions and settings. Adding someone to a group does not automatically allocate a product seat.
Product access
Review and manage the product seats allocated to a team member. A seat allows the person to use a product. Read How to allocate product seats through a team member's profile or How to remove a product seat through a team member's profile.
Permissions
Review administrator status, Hub permissions and permissions inside individual products. Hub permissions control account-level tools; product permissions control actions within a specific product. Permissions do not allocate a product seat.
In Basic permissions mode, team members have administrator or standard access. In Advanced mode, authorised managers can set specific Hub and product permissions directly or through groups. Only administrators can grant or remove administrator access.

Notifications, Localisation and Email preferences
These are personal settings for your own profile:
- Notifications: choose your default Hub notification sound. Product notification choices are managed in each product's Your personal settings page.
- Localisation: choose the time zone used to display dates and times. This does not change product opening hours or other business schedules.
- Email preferences: choose which optional Webfactory emails you receive. Essential service information cannot be disabled.
Active sessions
Review signed-in devices and end other sessions. You cannot end the current session from this tab; use Log out. Administrators and authorised team managers can also end sessions for another team member in the same account.
Other tabs
Depending on your account and access, you may also see Accessibility, Experimental, API access or product-specific settings.
Safe IP is available where the team member has Workflow access. It controls the Safe IP used by supported Workflow and Connect tools. You can update your own Safe IP; administrators and authorised team managers can manage it for another team member in the same account. A Safe IP does not disable two-factor authentication for Hub sign-in.
