Introduction to the website editor's content page
In this article, we'll provide a brief description of the 'Content' section within the website editor.
Within this section, you can edit and manage the following website elements:
- Pages: this section allows you to manage the pages of your website, including adding new pages (if appropriate website package), editing existing ones, and organising them in a hierarchical structure.
- Site alert: site alert enables you to add an alert message to every page on your site. e.g. announcing new products or scheduled maintenance. If you do not see this section then you can add it as a free upgrade in the upgrades section.
- Banners: banners are graphical elements typically displayed at the top of webpages to convey important messages, promotions, or branding. In this section, you can customise and manage the banners on your website.
- Sidebars: sidebars are sections typically located on the sides of webpages, used for displaying additional content, navigation links, or widgets. This section enables you to customise and manage the content displayed in the sidebars of your website.
- File Store: the file store is a repository for storing and managing various files and media assets used on your website, such as images, documents, and multimedia files.
- Footer (only on some sites): here you can edit your website's footer content, if you do not see this section then your footer can be edited in the 'General' section of the 'Settings' tab in the website editor.
- Logo Switcher: the logo switcher feature allows you to manage and switch between different logos during seasonal period.
