How to add a new page to your website

In this article we'll guide you through the process of adding a new page to your website.

This guide will explain the required steps to create a page from scratch, choose a pre-made template, or copy an existing page's structure and content.

  1. Navigate to the Content section
    • From your website editor, find and click on the 'Content' section.
  2. Access the Pages section
    • Within the 'Content' section, look for the 'Pages' option and click on it. This will lead you to a screen displaying all the current pages on your website.
  3. Initiate the addition of a new page
    • Look for the 'Add page' button located at the top of each navigation section (there might be only one depending on your site's structure). Click on this button to begin creating your new page.
  4. Provide Information for your new page
    • You will now have the option to name your new page. Input your desired page name.
    • Decide whether your new page will be a sub-page or not. A sub-page is a child of another page and will appear, for example, as a dropdown from the parent page in your site navigation.
    • Next, select a page type. You can choose a blank page, allowing you to add custom page elements, or select one of the pre-made templates available.
  5. Option to copy an existing page
    • If you wish to copy the structure and content of an existing page, select the 'Copy Existing' option. This will prompt a dropdown menu where you can choose the page you wish to replicate.
  6. Complete the addition of the new page
    • Once you have made all your choices and entered all the required information, click the 'Add Page' button. The new page will be created and added to your site, and you will be automatically redirected to the page editor where you can further customise your new page.
