Introduction to page settings
In this article, we aim at providing you with a brief overview of the page settings available in the content section of the website editor.
These settings can be accessed by clicking on the three dots next to each page listed in the content section.
- General settings:
Hide page:
Hide the page from being displayed on your website.Prevent google listing this page:
Prevent the page from appearing in Google search results.Open page in new tab:
Direct the page to open in a new browser tab when clicked.Hide child pages in desktop navigation:
Hide child pages from the desktop navigation menu.Hide child pages in mobile navigation:
Hide child pages from the mobile navigation menu.
- Search engine optimisation (SEO):
Search engine title:
Customise the title displayed in search engine results for the page. We recommend to leave it blank for automatically optimised titles.Meta description:
Give a brief summary of the page's content in search engines listing.Meta keyword:
Specify keywords related to the page's content for search engine optimisation. It is mostly redundant nowadays.
- Lock page:
Password:
Restrict access to the page with a password.Password page text:
Customise the message displayed when visitors attempt to access the page with a password.
