How to lock a website page with a password
In this article, we'll guide you through the steps of adding a password to one of your website pages.
This might prevent anyone without access from seeing the page.
If your password protects a parent page with subpages under it, all the subpages will be locked with the same password. There is no need to set a password on each page individually.
Go to your website editor.
Click on 'Content' then 'Pages'.
Find the page you'd like to lock and go to the page settings represented by the icon.
In the 'lock page' tab, you can set one or more passwords to protect the page, for example, if different users need different passwords. You can also add text to display before users enter a password.
Click on 'Update settings' to save the changes.
To protect your entire site, use Visitor logins in Settings. You can create a username and password for each visitor who needs access.
