How to hide a page
In this article, we'll guide you through the steps of hiding a page from view.
This option is helpful when updating or adding new content, or when a page contains information that is only relevant during certain times of the year, such as holiday promotions or seasonal offers.
Please note that hiding a page will not remove it from Google if it has already been indexed. To prevent it from appearing in Google search results, you can adjust the settings in the page's options.
- In the website editor select the 'Content' tab.
- Click on the 'Pages' section.
- On the pages list, find the page you wish to hide from view.
- Click on the three dots and select 'Settings'.
- Within the 'General settings' tab, toggle the 'Hide page' sliding button on.
- Finish the process by updating the settings.
Instead of hiding a page you can also lock a page by protecting it with password, so that only users with the right credentials can access it.
