How to remove a category or subcategory from your knowledge base

In this article, we'll guide you through the steps of removing a category or subcategory from your knowledge base.

You cannot remove a category if it contains subcategories or articles. You will need to move or remove them first.

Step 1

Click on the 'Content' tab.

Step 2

Find the category or subcategory you wish to remove and click on the '' next to it.

Step 3

Then, click on ' Remove'.

If it is a main category with subcategories attach to it. The system will ask you to move or delete the subcategories first.
If it is a subcategory with articles assign to it. The system will ask you to first move or delete the articles before being able to remove the subcategory.

Step 4

Finally select 'Remove'.
