How to remove a category or sub category from your knowledge base

In this article, we'll guide you through the steps of removing a category or sub category from your knowledge base.

You cannot remove a category if it contains sub categories or articles. You will need to move or remove them first.

Click on the 'Content' tab.
Find the category or sub category you wish to remove and click on the '' next to it.
Then, click on ' Remove'.
- If it is a main category with sub categories attach to it. The system will ask you to move or delete the sub categories first.
- If it is a sub category with articles assign to it. The system will ask you to first move or delete the articles before being able to remove the sub category.
Finally select 'Remove'.
