How to add links to your website content using the text editor
You can add links to text, buttons, pages, products, articles, categories, and more directly from the Website Editor.
From the Website editor, click on the ‘Content’ tab.
Select the ‘Pages’ section.
Open the page you want to edit.
Click inside the content area where you want to add the link.
To add a link, either:
- Highlight the text you want to turn into a link, or
- Place your cursor where you want the link to appear.
Click the icon in the text editor toolbar.
Under ‘Link type’, choose the type of link you want to create.
Depending on the link type selected, either search the relevant item by typing into the search box or enter the destination URL.
Tick ‘Open in a new tab’ if you want the linked page to open in a separate browser tab, allowing visitors to remain on your website.
Tick ‘Make into button’ if you would like the link to be displayed as a button instead of standard text.
Click the ‘Update Link’ button.
Finally, click the ‘Update’ button to save your changes to the page.
If you’d like to add links without using the editor, you can do so by formatting your text manually. Please refer to our support article on text formatting.
