Introduction to product details

In this article, we’ll provide a brief introduction to the various product details you can configure for each of your products.

When adding a product to your webshop or editing an existing one, you'll have access to the following sections.

  • Overview: this is where you enter a general summary or description of the product. It typically includes basic information such as the product name, description, price, and any key features.
  • Images: here you can upload and manage images for the product.
  • Departments: in this section you can set which departments the product appears in.
  • Variations: if a product comes in different variations such as size, colour, or style, this setting allows you to manage those variations.
  • Specifications: this setting allows you to define characteristics of your products which will enable customers to filter your products. (not all websites will have this feature)
  • Stock: stock management allows you to track and update your product's stock levels.
  • Delivery: this section allows you to specify shipping options and costs for the product.
  • Volume discounts: this section allows you to set up and manage volume discount settings which will adjust the price of the product depending on the volume purchased.
  • Cross promotions: cross promotions enable you to promote related products alongside the product.
  • Search optimisation: the search optimisation section provides you with settings to improve the visibility of your product on search engines and within your own site's search facility.
