How to edit, copy or remove a Webshop product

In this article, we'll guide you through editing, copying or removing an existing Webshop product. Copying a product is useful when you want to reuse most of its details, while removing a product deletes it from your product list.

If you want to create a product from scratch, see how to add a product to your Webshop.

Step 1

In Website Manager, select 'Webshop', then 'Products'.

Step 2

Find the product you want to change. Select the product name, or open its action menu and choose 'Edit product'.

Step 3

Make the required changes. Use the tabs across the product editor to manage images, files, departments, variations, specifications, stock, delivery and other product settings.

Step 4

Select 'Update product' to save your changes.

Step 1

In Website Manager, select 'Webshop', then 'Products'.

Step 2

Find the product you want to duplicate, open its action menu and choose 'Copy product'. You can also open the product and select 'Copy product' from the top of the editor.

Step 3

A copy is created and opened for editing. Give it a unique product name and product code, then review its price, description, images, departments and other settings.

Step 4

Select 'Update product' to save your changes. Check the 'Show on website' setting before displaying the copied product to customers.

Step 1

In Website Manager, select 'Webshop', then 'Products'.

Step 2

If you only want to hide the product, open it, switch off 'Show on website', then select 'Update product'. Otherwise, continue to remove it.

Step 3

Find the product you want to delete, open its action menu and choose 'Remove'.

Step 4

Review the confirmation message and confirm the removal. This action cannot be undone.
