Introduction to customer accounts settings
In this article, we'll walk you through the settings available in the 'Customer accounts' section of your Webshop.
- Enable customer accounts: When enabled, customers can create an account either before or during the checkout process. Having an account allows them to log in, manage their details, update payment methods, and view their order history.
- Account activation: If this setting is turned on, all new customer accounts will require manual approval before they become active.
- Default account discount percentage: This setting allows you to apply a standard discount to all customers with an account. You can also set an individual discount percentage in a customer account where needed.
- Hide prices if not logged in: When enabled, product prices will only be visible to users who are logged in to an account. Visitors who are not logged in will be unable to see pricing information.
- Prevent checkout unless has an account: Customers won't be able to check out without an active account.
