How to restrict website access to specific IP addresses
In this article, we'll guide you through the steps of restricting access to your website to specific IP addresses.
'IP access control' enables you to limit access to your website depending on the visitor's IP address.
'IP access control' can be a simple way to keep your content secure, but note that if a visitor's IP address changes, they'll no longer have access to your site until you add their new IP address to the list.
In the website editor, go to 'Settings'.
Find the 'IP restrictions' section.
Enter the desired IP address, then click 'Add'.
Repeat the procedure if you have multiple IP addresses you'd like to grant access to.
Complete the process by updating your settings.
The website editor offers other ways to restrict access. You can set a password for selected pages or use Visitor logins to create usernames and passwords for specific visitors.
