How to set up custom URLs in the website editor

By default, your website automatically generates URLs based on the name of your content, such as pages, blog articles, products, ItemLister items, and properties.

If you need more control, you can enable a Custom URL. This lets you choose your own URL slug instead of using the automatically generated one, allowing you to keep the same web address even if the content name changes.

Using a custom URL can be useful for:

  • Maintaining existing links.
  • Creating shorter or more meaningful URLs.
  • Improving search engine optimisation (SEO).
  • Including important keywords in your URLs.
  • Preventing URLs from changing automatically when content names are updated.

You can customise the URL of the following content directly within the Website Editor:
