Why SiteRank shows 'Not found', 'above 100' or an hourglass

In this article, we'll explain what 'Not found', '> 100' and the hourglass mean in your SiteRank results, and what you can do next.

In SiteRank, click on the 'Search terms' tab to view the latest results for every tracked search term.

  • If 'Rank' shows '> 100', SiteRank did not find your tracked domain within the first 100 Google results for that search term and selected location during the latest update. This does not mean the page is ranked exactly 100th.
  • If 'Page' shows 'Not found', SiteRank could not identify a page from your tracked domain for that search term. This normally accompanies a rank of '> 100', so there is no ranking page to display.
  • An hourglass means SiteRank does not yet have enough comparison data.
    • In 'Change', it means there is no previous ranked result to compare.
    • In 'Trend', it means more ranking updates are needed before a chart can be shown. This is common after adding a new search term or when the term was not previously ranked.

SiteRank will check again at the next scheduled update. If the result remains unchanged, check the search term and location, make sure a relevant public page is available to Google, and use 'Ranking tips' found on your SiteRank page to improve the page.
