How to update your SiteRank tracked domain
This article walks you through the steps to update the domain or web address you’re tracking in SiteRank.
When you change your tracked domain, your existing search terms will remain active and continue to be monitored. However, if those search terms are no longer relevant, it’s a good idea to remove them and add new ones that better match your updated domain.

To update your tracked domain:
- Go to the 'Settings' section.
- Then, update your tracked domain in the box.
- Finally, click on the 'Update settings' button.
Once updated, all future ranking checks will be performed against your new domain.
We usually recommend not adding "www" in front of your tracked domain. This helps enable broad match tracking, which means we can track all subdomains, such as sales.yourdomain.co.uk, and not just www.yourdomain.co.uk.
