How to cancel your services or close your account

This guide explains how to cancel your Webfactory services or close your account.
Option 1: Cancelling by phone or email
You can cancel your services by phone or email.

- Email us at hello@webfactory.co.uk.
If you request cancellation by email, we’ll usually reply to confirm your request. This is to make sure you’re aware of what closing your account means – such as loss of data and the steps to restore your services later, if needed.
We’ll only proceed with closure after you’ve confirmed this final step.
Important: Make sure you notify us before your next invoice is generated. Once issued, invoices are due regardless of cancellation.
Option 2: Cancel through the Hub
Many of our services can be cancelled directly through the Hub. You’ll need to be an administrator or have billing permissions to do this.
To cancel a product:
- From your Hub, click on your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Select Account and billing from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the Product management section.
- Locate the product you wish to cancel and click Close product.
- Read the confirmation message carefully before continuing.
- (Optional) Let us know why you’re leaving – your feedback really helps.
Domains
If you’re closing a website product, any associated domains are not cancelled automatically. You’ll need to close each domain separately once the website is cancelled.
Subscription services
If your service has a minimum contract term, it cannot be cancelled until the term is complete.
