How to add text, images and files to your Welcome Pack
Gather your content, good-quality images and supporting files. Only provide material you own or have permission to use. Give files clear names and explain where each should appear.
What to gather
- Content for each page.
- Original, high-quality images with clear names and placement notes.
- PDFs or other files you want visitors to see or download.
If you don’t have images yet
If you don’t have suitable images, check whether your website package includes a Photo Pack. If it does, use Photo pack image in Content to choose images from the photo library. If it isn’t included, check Optional add-ons in your Welcome Pack for the paid Photo Pack option.
Where AI can help
You can use an AI writing tool to outline or draft page copy. Check names, services, prices and claims, and edit the draft to sound like your business. Put the approved copy in Content using Add text for the relevant page.
If a page is missing, go back to the page planner. You can add content later in the website editor. Layout changes requested afterwards may cost extra.
When your content is ready, choose your search phrases.
Open Content and expand the relevant page. Use Site-wide content for items that appear across the website.
Choose the option for the material you want to supply.
- Add text for page copy.
- Upload image for your own photos or graphics.
- Photo pack image for a stock image, where available.
- Document or file for items such as menus or brochures.
Tell your designer where each item should go. Use View layout notes if you need to check the layout you requested.
Select Continue. If Missing page text content appears, use the list to find the pages that need copy. Continue anyway lets you proceed, but your designer may return the pack for more detail.
