What is a favicon
In this article, we'll give you a brief introduction to Favicons.
Favicon stands for 'Favourite icon'. It is a small icon usually representing either the company logo or a company symbol. It appears in the browser's address bar, bookmarks, tabs, and sometimes in search results, making your website stand out within the users' browser.
At Webfactory, we opted for our company's logo displayed on a small blue square as our Favicon.
