How to add a video to a website page

In this article, we'll guide you through the steps of adding a video to a page on your website.

Note that you can only embed videos from YouTube or Vimeo on your website.

Step 1

From the Hub, go to the website editor.

Step 2

Click on the 'Content' tab.

Step 3

Now, go to the 'Pages' section.

Step 4

Then, create a new page or select the page you wish to add a video to.

Step 5

Click on the and choose the number of columns. For a video, it's normally best to use one column.

Step 6

Find the 'Rich media' section and select either 'YouTube video' or 'Vimeo video' depending on which provider you've chosen to host your video.

Step 7

Click on the 'Add section' button; or 'Update' button if swapping the content type of one of your content boxes.

You'll be redirected back to the page editor.

Step 9

Now, click on the newly created page section.

A new 'Video editor' page will appear where you'll be able to give your video a title.

Now open a new tab and go to your preferred video hosting provider (e.g. YouTube or Vimeo).

Go back to the website editor.

Step 13

Paste the embed code into the 'Embedded HTML code' box.

Finally, click on the 'Update' button.
