How to change your username
In this article, we'll guide you through the steps of changing your username.
Your username is your unique identifier to access your Hub. Your username can be changed by yourself, an administrator or a user who has been granted permissions to manage users.
Changing your username yourself:
- From the Hub, click on your profile picture at the top of the screen.
- Then, select 'Your profile'.
- Click on the 'Username and password' tab.
- In the 'Username' section you can type your new username in the 'New username' box.
- Finally, click on the 'Update' button.
If you can't remember your username and aren't able to change it. You can ask your administrator or a user with management permissions to do it for you.
Changing a user's username as an administrator or user with user management permissions:
- Click on your profile picture at the top of your screen.
- Select, 'Manage team'.
- Then, click on 'Team members'.
- Find and select the team member you want to change the username for.
- Click on the 'Username and password' tab.
- In the 'Username' section you can type the new username.
- Finally, click on update.
Your username must meet certain requirements:
- The username must be at least 4 characters long.
- Only letters and numbers are allowed (no spaces or special characters).
- Usernames are case insensitive: if your username includes capital letters, you can still log in using only lowercase instead.
