How to enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
In this article, we'll guide you through enabling two-factor authentication (2FA).
Two-factor authentication can be managed by an administrator. If your Hub uses Advanced permissions, it can also be managed by a team member who has been granted the 'Manage hub settings' permission. In Basic permissions mode, only administrators have this permission. Once enabled, 2FA applies to every team member in your Hub.
Why use 2FA?
Two-factor authentication adds a verification code to the sign-in process. Even if someone obtains a team member's password, they cannot sign in without the code sent to that person's email address or mobile phone.
How to Enable 2FA
Click your profile image.
Select ' Hub settings'.
In 'Two factor security', turn 'Two factor logins' on.
In 'Two factor method', choose whether verification codes are sent by email or SMS.
Once enabled, every team member will be asked for a verification code the next time they sign in. The code is sent using the method selected in Hub settings. For SMS, make sure each team member's profile contains the correct mobile number.
