How to customise your checkout process on your Webshop

In this article, we'll guide you through the steps of customising the checkout process on your Webshop.

Step 1

In the website editor, go to the 'Webshop' tab.

Step 2

Click on the 'Checkout' section.

Step 3

You now have access to different options related to your Webshop checkout process.

  • Order notifications
    • Enable order notification emails: enables you to get a notification for every new order on your Webshop.
    • Notification email address(es): choose which address(es) you'd like the notifications to be sent to.
  • Messages
    • Basket message: add a message at the top of your checkout page. For example, you could remind customers to use their vouchers.
    • Enable basket notes box: Enable this option if you would like a text box your buyers can fill in to add notes about their order.
    • Text to show before the notes box: you can give examples of what type of information your customers can add in the note box.
    • Delivery options message: add text which will appear above your delivery options. This can be helpful if you need to direct people to specific options for special orders.
    • Payment options message: add text that will appear above your payment methods.
    • Checkout complete message: add a message to be displayed to your customers when their checkout is completed.
    • Checkout complete HTML: add a snippet of HTML code, e.g. conversion tracking code.
  • Terms and conditions: Select your 'Terms and conditions' page to make a required tick box appear above your checkout button, meaning customers will be unable to proceed without accepting your terms and conditions.
Step 4

When you're satisfied with your choices, click on 'Update settings' to save your changes.
