How to change your Webfactory Hub password
In this article, we'll guide you through changing your Webfactory Hub password and choosing your preferred two-factor authentication method.
Click your profile image and select Your profile.
Open Login & security.
Scroll to the password section.
Enter your current password, enter and confirm the new password, then click Set new password.
To manage Two-factor authentication, stay in Login & security and scroll to that section. This adds an identity check after you enter your password.
Under Preferred verification method, select the radio option for the method you want to use:
- Email: receive a verification code by email.
- SMS: receive a verification code by text message.
- Authenticator app: use the six-digit code generated by your connected authenticator app.
Follow any setup or verification instructions shown. If an authenticator app is already connected, the Hub shows Your authenticator app is ready.
Check which method is marked Currently active. If your organisation requires two-factor authentication, Do not use 2FA is disabled.
When two-factor authentication is required at sign-in, follow the verification prompt. An Authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password, provides a time-based six-digit code. If you lose access to your authenticator app, you can choose email to verify your identity.
Select Forgotten password / Set password on the Hub sign-in page.
Enter your username and click Request reset.
Follow the link and instructions in the email.
Administrators and team members with the required management permission can set a password for another team member.
Click your profile image and select Manage team.
Select Team members.
Find the team member, open the menu and select Edit team member.
Open Username & password.
Scroll to the password section.
Enter your own current password, enter and confirm the team member's new password, then click Set new password.
Every new password must contain at least eight characters, one number, one uppercase letter and one lowercase letter.
